Join members of the cast and crew of “Chomp” as they read Lynne Hansen’s screenplay for “He’s Not Looking So Great” during the Doomsayers event in St. Petersburg, Florida on Wednesday, October 1st at 7:00 pm at Studio@620.
Two of the stars of “Chomp” will be taking on the largest roles in “He’s Not Looking So Great.” Kyle Porter, who plays Kyle Frost in “Chomp” will read the part of the self-absorbed lead Brad, (played in the actual short by Matt Story.)
Susan O’Gara, who plays Millie in “Chomp” will find herself in a much milder role as the narrator in the script.
Lynne Hansen, who wrote and directed “Chomp” and who wrote “He’s Not Looking So Great” will read the part of the determined Natalie (played in the film by Kat Lindsay.)
The cast for the script reading will be rounded out with “Chomp’s” associate producers, Jeff Strand, who will play the athletic Chuck (Max-Jay Dixon in the film) and Sally Bosco, who will play Chuck’s girlfriend Mary (Mallory Logan in the film.)
A crossover for the ages, this is not an event to be missed! And if that wasn’t enough motivation for you, the night will be rounded out with apocalyptic readings from other local authors, including Jeff Strand, who will be reading a solo piece as well.
More details on the event below. A portion of the proceeds go to Edible Peace Patch, a nonprofit that helps students in Title 1 schools in Pinellas build vegetable gardens.
